If you’re looking for a playground in London that’s perfect for little ones and offers plenty of fun for older kids too, Thornhill Square Playground in Islington is an absolute gem. We recently visited and found it to be a real hit with the family.
For toddlers, there are two sets of different-sized slides, giving them a bit of variety as they build up their confidence. There’s also a merry-go-round that kept my little one entertained for ages. The playground is designed with all ages in mind, and for bigger kids, there are five sets of swings – including two sets of baby swings for the younger ones.
What really stood out for me were the creative and educational activities cleverly built into the playground. Along the sides of the slide structures, you’ll find a range of engaging activities for your little explorers, from alphabet learning and counting bubbles to maze puzzles. It’s such a thoughtful touch that adds an extra layer of fun and learning to the experience.
