South Carriage Drive Playground in Hyde Park
If you’re in Hyde Park in London and need a spot for the kids to let off some steam, South Carriage Drive Playground is worth a visit. It’s been a popular spot with locals, though it had seen better days. Recently, it’s had a bit of a refresh.
There’s a new climbing structure that fits with a Jungle Walk theme, made from timber that blends well with the park’s greenery. It’s got a curved slide, climbing features, and some balancing bits, which are great for the kids.
It’s a fairly small playground but perfect for a quick play session. They’ve got the usual swings, slides, and climbing frames, plus some picnic tables if you want to take a break while the kids run around. It’s best for kids up to about 12 years old.
