Oh wow, where do I even begin? This brilliant London playground has everything a curious little fox like me could wish for – and it’s completely free!
🪣 First stop: the giant sandpit. I dug and jumped and made sand-fox-castles! There are also swings, slides, and the most climbable climbing frames for all ages. There’s even a separate play zone just for toddlers, so us little ones don’t get squished by the big kids. Smart thinking, right?
💦 But my favourite part? The paddling pool! It’s shallow and safe, with non-slip bits all around, and there’s a friendly grown-up (they call them a lifeguard!) keeping an eye on us. I splashed for ages – don’t forget your swimming costume and towel!
🌿 There’s a big grassy bit too, perfect for picnics under the trees. Mummy Fox brought sandwiches, but we also spotted an ice cream van nearby, which made my tail wag with joy! (There’s no café, so pack your nibbles and drinks, just to be sure.)
🚻 Toilets are close by (phew!), and everything’s kept nice and clean – no muddy paws here.

You can hop off the train at Gospel Oak Overground Station – it’s just a short walk from there. Parliament Hill Playground is right in the middle of Hampstead Heath, one of the loveliest green spaces in London. There’s fresh air, birdies singing, and tons of space to run, roll, and explore!
