We spent a lovely day out at Mudchute Park & Farm with the kids, and honestly, I can’t recommend it enough! Who would’ve thought that one of the biggest inner-city farms in Europe is right in the middle of Canary Wharf? It's a proper hidden gem, perfect for a family day out, especially if you’ve got little ones and the best part - you can visit it for free! There are over 100 animals to see, from lambs and donkeys to pigs, goats, and even peacocks! The kids were thrilled to get up close and feed the animals – such a brilliant way to spend the day outdoors. Such a great educational experience. The staff were great, really friendly, and helped us safely pet some of the animals. What I loved most was the wide-open spaces. It’s not just about the animals; it’s a lovely place for a peaceful walk. We brought a picnic along, but there’s also a little café if you fancy a cuppa or a bite to eat – very reasonably priced too, which is always a bonus! Honestly, if you’re looking for something fun, free, and outdoors to do with the kids in London, Mudchute Farm is the spot! It’s super easy to get to from the tube, and a great way to spend a sunny afternoon.
