Gunnersbury Park Playground
If you’re looking for a brilliant free spot in West London to entertain the kids, Gunnersbury Park Playground should be at the top of your list. We recently spent the afternoon here, and it’s easily one of the best playgrounds we’ve found in the area.
This place has a fantastic layout with loads of space for children to run around, perfect for burning off some energy. There’s a great mix of play equipment suitable for different ages, including a separate area just for the under-5s, which was a big hit with our little ones. The swings, slides, and climbing frames are well-maintained and clean, making it a pleasure to spend time here.
What really sets this playground apart is the setting within Gunnersbury Park itself. You’ve got picnic tables dotted around, so it’s easy to pack a lunch and make a day of it. There’s even a boating lake nearby and a brand-new sports centre if you fancy extending the outing. Parking is available, which makes the trip a lot easier for families.
Whether you’re a West London local or just visiting, Gunnersbury Park Playground is a great spot to keep in mind for a fun, free family day out. It’s an ideal place for a bit of fresh air and exercise, with plenty to keep the kids entertained while you enjoy a coffee in the park.
