This free playground in Islington is massive! It’s clean, well-maintained, and even supervised—something that instantly puts parents like me at ease. There’s a good mix of play equipment to keep the little ones entertained, no matter their age. From the exciting spiral slide to the smaller one that’s perfect for toddlers, there’s plenty of fun for everyone.

There is a gated toddler playground area with small swings, seesaw, quality climbing structure, slide and a really big sand are with water play. There are toilets right beside it which is a blessing! Bigger kids will surely enjoy huge climbing structures and nets, tire swings, rope swings and slides. There is a basketball court as well as a football pitch – truly a paradise for the whole family!

What I really like about Elthorne Park is that it’s spacious. There’s enough room for kids to run about without feeling cramped, and there are always enough swings and slides to keep everyone busy without much waiting. It’s open daily from 8 am until dusk, so there’s always a good window to pop by, whether for a quick visit or a longer play session.

It’s also lovely that the park has something for everyone—not just the kids. There’s plenty of open space for adults to relax, read a book, or enjoy a coffee while watching the little ones play.
