Antrim Grove Playground In North West London
If you’re a parent living around Belsize Park in London, or you’re planning a family day out in North West London, Antrim Grove Playground is a perfect spot for your little ones. I recently took my toddler here, and I have to say, it’s ideal for kids aged 1 to 3.
Antrim Grove Playground is truly a hidden gem in but perfectly suited for toddlers. There are two sets of toddler swings, two slides and a lovely climbing structure. The playground is pocket sized and so cozy! My little one loved it – it’s just the right size to keep them entertained without feeling overwhelmed.
We went during the late morning, and it was fairly quiet. I’ve heard it can get busier around peak times, but if you aim for early mornings or around lunchtime, you’ll likely find it quite peaceful. There’s a nice grassy area enclosed within the same fence, perfect for laying down a picnic blanket, playing ball, or just letting the kids run around. With two wooden benches and plenty of bins dotted about, it’s easy to relax and keep an eye on the kids while they enjoy the fresh air.
The best part? It’s completely free and located just opposite the Belsize Park library, so you can easily pop over for a bit of quiet reading if you fancy. Antrim Grove Playground is one of those lovely little hidden gems for family activities in London – perfect for a relaxed afternoon or a spontaneous outing.
If you’re looking for smart ways to enjoy London on a budget with kids, this is a fantastic option. It’s well-suited for young families, and you won’t need to spend a penny to keep your little ones entertained. The London kids’ activities guide wouldn’t be complete without a mention of this playground, especially if you’ve got toddlers in tow!
So if you’re in North West London, definitely give Antrim Grove Playground a go – it’s a smart family activity that ticks all the boxes for a fun, cost-free day out.
