As a local parent, it’s always a treat to discover a great playground that both my toddler and older child can enjoy. One of our absolute favourites has to be Sunbury Street Playground, right in the heart of South East London. If you’re looking for a smart family activity that’s completely free and guaranteed to keep the kids entertained for hours, this spot is definitely worth a visit.
Recently refurbished, this playground is clean, spacious, and packed with play equipment for children of all ages. My little one was immediately drawn to the pirate ship – it’s a real hit! The playground also has a lovely mix of swings, slides, and even a separate area for toddlers, making it perfect if you’ve got younger and older kids. It’s great to know that this little haven is right on our doorstep and completely free to enjoy.
There’s plenty of space for the kids to run around, make friends, and explore. My two absolutely love it, and we’ve already made plans to come back when the weather warms up. Sunbury Street Playground is truly one of those hidden gems in London that you’ll want to return to again and again.
